Goodwill

My name is Heather Rushforth, I am a Biology Lecturer here, and I am on the Board of Reconsidered Goods which is a non-profit creative re-use center open to the public on Patterson street less than 3 miles from UNCG.
Reconsidered goods mission is to divert supplies that could be used away from the landfill.  I like to say they are a goodwill for crafters. They have been open and active in the community for 3+ years. If you haven’t been by to visit and shop I highly encourage you to go and check it out. www.reconsideredgoods.com
We are rapidly growing and just this month have leased the building next door to create an event space to accomodate classes, birthday parties, and camps for kid. Currently it is a big open warehouse like space.  We have already begun painting and collecting donations, but we would love help with design, logistics, management, marketing, etc. This will be a project that will move quickly this Fall, we would like to have the space ready for the public by Oct 12th, on the 4th anniversary of the store.
We would love to partner with the Bryan School to assist us in planning and developing this space. I think this would be an excellent project for students in your courses.  (We are also talking to the Interior design department) .
Please let me know if you think this would be a good fit, or who I should reach out to if not you. I can also arrange for a tour of the buildings or to meet the owners to further this discussion as well.

Thank you for your time
