Summer PR/Marketing internship position available at Eliz Creative: We are a local marketing company specializing in serving summer camps and outdoor brands by offering digital solutions and guidance for growth. This unpaid position would involve creating social media content, tracking analytics and performing research related to marketing trends. This is an opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience by working on current projects as well as having the chance to propose new ideas and concepts. Mentorship opportunities are also available – partake in the mentorship program to enjoy the guidance of a seasoned professional who will be a long-term valued resource. This position is remote.

Greensboro History Museum Internships
The Greensboro [N.C.] History Museum is pleased to announce five paid and two unpaid internship opportunities for summer 2021. Internships are open to undergraduate or graduate students with a demonstrated interest in a museum, library or archives career and will offer valuable professional experience at a Smithsonian Affiliate and American Alliance of Museums–accredited institution.
The paid internships offer a $2,000 stipend for a minimum of 160 hours of work. Internship hours may be worked mid-May to mid-August (unless otherwise noted) typically over 6–8 weeks, with the actual schedule determined after selection.

NC Conservation Network Online Organizing Intern
The North Carolina Conservation Network is seeking candidates for a part-time paid online organizing internship. The internship will be 20 hours per week during normal business hours and will run from June 7 to August 2 (dates are flexible).
The NC Conservation Network is a statewide network of approximately 75 environmental, health, and environmental justice organizations. The NC Conservation Network directly advocates for equitable and sustainable solutions for our environment and public health.
The Online Organizing Intern will receive a first-hand experience in working at a statewide environmental nonprofit. The candidate’s responsibilities will involve:
• Helping to map and assess the environmental community’s social
media footprint and online presence.
• Researching and compiling findings and presenting to our staff.
• Exploring and evaluating new social media tools and channels for the organization.
• Researching and presenting examples of innovative practices for social media and online organizing.
Applicants should be excited about social media, digital innovation, data-driven insight, engaging with online audiences, and learning more about North Carolina’s environmental community. Ideal candidates will be self-starters with a collaborative spirit who are detail-oriented and have good time management skills.
Location: The internship will be remote. The Online Organizing Intern will meet with staff over video conference. Current students enrolled at a North Carolina college or university are preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have a major, minor or, strong
interest in communications, political science, environmental studies, or public policy.
• Knowledge and comfort with wide range of social media platforms, especially with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Ability and experience with compiling and presenting data.
• Demonstrated interest in progressive issues and, in particular, an interest in environmental, environmental justice and public health issues.
• Eagerness to learn new things and collaborate with our team.
• Ability to work 100% remotely during the pandemic.
The stipend for this internship will be $2,000 for the 8-week internship.
